Legends of Delta Lambda - FIRST GRAND REUNION
Thursday February 27- Sunday March 2, 2025
Don’t Miss This Inaugural Year of a New Tradition
We have initiated more than 3,000 men since our Founding in 1949. Beginning in 2025, we will host a Grand Reunion every five years. This will be the first, and a commemorative photograph will be taken of all participants and placed on permanent display in our magnificent Chapter house.
![]() Joe Faheley ‘81 | This will be the most awesome reunion in Delta Lambda Pike history. Hundreds of FSU Pikes will gather for this weekend of Fun, Fellowship and Fraternity. |
Andy Miller ’70 will host an informal Thursday night dinner/social hour at Bowden’s in College Town. Andy 850-545-4914
Doug Russell ’79 has put together two days of Pike golf at the Seminole Course. Twelve foursomes for Friday are already full and he is trying to add more. Doug 850-445-0206.
Dave Kresge ’73 has a group of warrior shooters going out to Talon Range for sporting clays on Friday. David: 813-833-2285
Wayne Curtiss ’83, through his company Smack Apparel, is making special shirts available to all participants at no cost! Thank you, Wayne.
I’m organizing an event Friday for all the those not golfing or shooting. The 2 choices are 1. A bus trip to The Pebble Hill Plantation with a guided tour of one of the most spectacular southern mansions in existence. The houses have everything in them like the owners still lived there. Followed by lunch in Thomasville and shopping in downtown Thomasville which is also having their giant annual antique fair. The bus would depart at 9:30 am and be back in Tallahassee by 2:30 pm. or 2. A guided tour of FSU followed by lunch on campus and attendance at an hour long music recital in the college of music. We will decide which event based on participant votes next week.
Pike Baseball Tailgate at the baseball stadium, Friday at 3:30 pm. The baseball game is at 5 pm and tickets are available. Joe Feheley ’81: 305-776-3221.
Saturday at the Chapter House. Brunch at 10:30 AM for everyone spouses and girlfriends included. Special Ritual Initiation of 5 candidates (Brothers only). Big group photo in front of the house all undergrads and alumni (casual clothes garnet and gold recommended) around 1200-1230, to be on permanent display.
Saturday evening at The Moon Nightclub. Exclusively for Pikes and their dates/wives/sweethearts, wives/significant others. Hundreds of Delta Lambda Pikes will be there.
Doors open at 5:30 PM: Heavy hors-d'oeuvres, cash bar.
Digital Delta Lambda history projected continually. Music.
Stage presentation at 6:40 PM.
At 6:45 the curtain will rise, and an 11-piece band called "The Rockitz" will play music from all eras until 8 PM.
